Torch Cutting Machine Operator Work In Continuous Casting Machine | Work Of A TCM operator | CCM TCM STRAND OPERATOR

A TCM Operator should be a responsible and hardworking that is common right and this can identify by shift incharge or engineer or manager when problems on strand or machine occured that how that Operator phase that problem and save strand and casting.

Let's know from starting of casting:

Before starting casting in CCM, Operator should clear all strand runout if cutting billets are there. 

Let's know point wise: What is TCM ?

1. All strand runout roller table should clear.

2. Approach roller table should be clear.

3. Discharge roller table should be clear.

4. Turn over cooling bed should be clear.

5. Check Rort,Art,Drt,Trt all rollers foundation, alignment, Bearing, Chain connection and hose pipe connection on rollers.

6. Check all motors(Rort,Drt,Trt,Wsu) drive is ready or not, check foundation and chain connection and also check current during motor ON.

7. Check Torch cutting machine length setpoint according to bar section.

8. Check TCM Clamping home position,Car and torch home position, Torch cooling and car cooling flow is ok, Pilot flame valve ON, Torch drive and TCM cycle OK or not.

9. Check Rort and Art guide condition.

10. Check Movable stopper, Fixed stopper, Billet lifting device, Cross transfer device.

11. Check cooling bed cylinder, hose pipe, sensor, Cycle time, Discharge hydraulic level, Multistep pusher, Pushers.

12. Check manual gas cutter ,hose pipe, gas(propane), Oxygen and all pressure and level.

13. Drain and boxes should be clean and water supply ON.

14. All electrical instruments, Panels, Automation should OK.

15. After disconnection bar should be on correct track otherwise it can collision with TCM arm or guide that causes can be autofire or casting close.

16. Remember who is inside TCM Control room will be responsible for cutting head.

These are the necessary points that a TCM Operator should keep in mind.
